DC Invert will flash the screen whenever a BELL character (ASCII 7) is printed.
This way, if you have the stereo up, are listening to headphones, or just
plain have the sound turned off, you can tell when an alert bell is sounded.
==============================================================================
=====================
Configuring DC Invert
=====================
DC Invert allows you to specify the screen flash rate when a bell is sounded.
>To set the flash rate, do this:
--------------------------------
1) Run DCINVERT.PRG from the desktop. You will be presented with the
main menu.
2) Click on the CONFIG button. The configuration alert box will display.
The current flash rate will be displayed.
2) Click on the plus ( + ) button to increase the rate by 10, click on the
minus ( - ) button to decrease the rate by 10.
NOTE: The maximum rate is 200 (one full second) and the minimum is 10
( 1/20th of a second). The rate will roll over at the max or min.
3) Test the flash rate by quickly clicking OUTSIDE of the configuration
alert box.
4) Click on OK when the setting is the way you like it.
5) If you have changed the flash rate you will be asked if you want to save
the configuration. Click on YES to save the configuration back to the
DCINVERT.PRG file.
